There is no place in NWA better than here. Incredible doctors, very knowledgable, and caring. I have been going there for 10 years and feel very fortunate that I went here for care. Dr. Collins is a super doctor. You could not as for better.

He was not very attentive nor thorough with my mom’s needs and procedure. We left with other concerns in need of addressing that may have been interrelated, but he seemed too focus on leaving the room as he was discussing the results standing at the door half open. Nonverbals speak loudly. The first visit was more pleasant on the surface, but overall folks can sense quantity or quality.

Never returns calls from patient. Horrible communication. Was supposed to have a procedure done and got all the way to the hospital to find out. It have been canceled by the office. Of course I pitched a fit because we had made plans to have this procedure done. So they worked it in for the day. Got ready to go to an appointment and was never notified that our Doctor No longer practice there. So I drove all the way to an appointment to find out that that person wasn’t even there anymore. That would be my only complaint. Everything else was fine communication skills need to be improved!

Dr. Brekelbaum was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. Now the front desk staff is a whole different story. They were not helpful they were to busy worried with what was going on on their phones then making sure they gave me all of things I needed to see if my kidney stone passes, she looked at the paper I handed her and said he will call you and never once looked at me. Will this stop me from seeing Dr. Brekelbaum, no because he is a great doctor, but the girls upfront need training on how to treat patients.

I don’t think you could find a better Urologist than Dr Chad Breckelbaum. He has been my Dr for several years now and he has consistently provided me with my needs. I have not needed any care for sometime now, however if I do need to see a Neurologist in the future it will certainly be Dr Chad.

Waited two hours to see the physician. Dr Kilambi finally came in just to tell me that I had kidney stones. We can wait or operate, up to you. Spent less than 3 minutes with me after 2 hours of waiting. He never introduced himself and walked away with me trying to speak. The office has about 7 young ladies on the desks in the front and back, yet the room and bathrooms were filthy. Trash and dirt on the floors and you can tell they havent been mopped in quite a while. Not a very sanitary place for medicine.

I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes. This is way too long for a doctor appointment. In fact I came out of the exam room and asked if they had forgotten me. They said no you are next. It was another 30 minutes before the doctor came to see me. Everything else was ok.

Dr. Collins is a great doctor

I had a surgical procedure about a month ago which went very well. Unfortunately some unforeseen, but apparently normal issues arose on a cruise ship last week. I had to depart the cruise and get medical attention to deal with the issues on a caribbean island. As soon as I returned I requested an immediate appointment with Dr, Collins through his nurse and she asked me to come in the first day after my return. They worked me in and got me all fixed up!!! Dr. Collins removed my cancer in 2020 and after today's yearly check up, I am 5 years cancer free. I am blessed!

The operation and post op are much easier than I expected. The only issue, and it may be normal, is my stream when urinating is slower than before the laser treatment. Hopefully it gets stronger as healing and swelling (?) get better. Pain level is maybe a 1 or 2. Your office assistant, Rachel was wonderful.

Disappointed. One week prior, I had fever 102 and went to ED, and was diagnosed with a UTI. I also have a history of having 3 ureters. The ED doctor, conferred with another ED doc, and both said to admit, IV antibiotics, and do workup to determine the cause of male UTI. My wife being a hospital RN of over 30 years, asked if we could go home, on oral antibiotics, and do our workup as outpatient. They agreed. One week later I came into my appt with Dr. Collins, who we were told had all of my ED labs, and MD notes. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, and my take away is, "This is part of aging, get used to your new normal. I can prescribe you a medication (that will be for life), that may help, but may not have anything to do with your problem". . . because we don't really know what caused the infection, the weak urine stream, or incomplete emptying of the bladder. At this point, I was very sorry that I had come to this doctor. I will seek a second opinion. He told me 3 ureters are very common. But when I google search, Mayo Clinic tells me that this is very uncommon, and in an elderly male with UTI and fever, it can be quite serious and needs a workup. (Should anyone reading this not believe this, do a google search yourself). I have a history of going into sepsis, requiring a PICC line with IV antibiotics for 6 weeks very quickly from what some might think is a simple infection. This was in the notes that Dr. Collins was sent. So, my "workup" with him consisted of a less than 5 minute appointment, and offer of lifelong medications, yet no imaging workup was done to reveal what was the cause of the UTI. Was it a blockage? Was it a problem in a ureter? Was it a simple infection? Mayo Clinic lists 10 possible causes of an UTi in an elderly male with 3 ureters, and describes this as a serious issue, needing a workup. I am disappointed and will not go back. I may need life long medications. If it is determined that I do, then I accept that. But I want to know the cause, and wonder if a simple procedure could help? Google prescribes a list of labs, imaging that should be done. A simple urinalysis was done in the office, no other testing. No other recommendations for testing were offered. "See you in a year", was what was the follow.

Rachel took me to the exam room for preliminaries, Karina was the assisting nurse and both were very personable and patient. Dr. Hurt was attentive, receptive and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone. The wait time was longer than I expected, but not unlike most doctor's offices. Appointment was 10:30 and left shortly after noon. I was very nervous about having to see a doctor about my incontinence problem. He listened to me and made me feel very comfortable and came up with a solution for me. I had a very good experience so far.

Went to see Dr. Brekelbaum for urology issues. Frequent irritation as it every hour all day long, Every day. Did a trial using Axonics stimulator and the next day it was 3 times to urinate all day. No urgency, just got when I decided. Just had the permanent pack inserted last week. I do not miss the hourly rush trips to the nearest bathroom, or side of the highway. Great staff and all were very friendly and concerned about my well being.

I’m going to start off by saying I’m a nurse manager that has worked around the best hospitals in the south and I have yet to encounter a situation like this. For starters, at my initial appointment I got about a thirty second run down about needing surgery- then Dr. Kilambi walked out, door left open, and a nervous young lady came in and handed me the surgery location and time. I asked for further information and she tried the best she could- then I was told it was okay to leave. I left feeling very strange but considered this is a minor procedure and I can ask more before the surgery. The pre op nurse at Willow Creek was wonderful, and was the only glimpse of professionalism during this entire experience. During the intake for surgery I was almost given two incorrect medications that are contraindicated for renal patients- Celebrex being one of them. I had only Tylenol ordered and fortunately the pre op nurse double checked the other nurse and agreed with me and told me they weren’t even ordered for me- they were ordered for another patient. Prior to my surgery I had asked when I would get to speak with the surgeon- and they told me he would come. Two other patients before me asked to see him prior to their surgeries- he refused even though the patients had a lot of questions…and they went back just because “they trust him”. I refused to go back before touching base because I had only seen him thirty seconds a few days prior. He “gave me the privilege” of meeting me in the hallway prior to surgery where we discussed the issues and he joked about it being another thirty seconds. I thanked him for deigning to answer my questions because I wanted to make sure everything was understood and what to expect. Surgery went well- which is what warrants the two stars. The day I go to get my stent removed I was given the incorrect information about which clinic to go to. I was informed by the Rogers desk person that I needed to be in Springdale. I asked why didn’t they tell me, because I had also called Kilambi’s surgical assistant and left a voicemail earlier about if I needed additional imaging before my procedure- and had not received a phone call back. They gave me the correct address and I arrived at 2:52, for my 3:00 appointment. I was in the room and was placed in a litotomy position, without being placed supine- completely holding myself in a pike position. I was prepped for the cystoscopy and left to sit in that position for over an hour. When thirty minutes hit I started calling for help, asking for someone to check on me- no one responded until Dr. Kilambi walked in an hour later and said “I’m here” which he then walked back out of the room to then review my chart….so I walked out of the room asking what was going on and what time is it. The nurse told me it was after 4- confirming I had been in the position for an hour. Dr. Kilambi proceeded to come back in and was very condescending to the nursing staff, one of which was in training, and blamed them for all of the issues. I asked why it took over an hour to get to me and didn’t receive a response- he was focused on the errors of the nurses. He explained the procedure and pulled the tube- no issues- although I had thought we were wanting to make sure all the stone was gone which didn’t seem to happen. It was over and done in about 3 minutes. He says “all that hullabaloo for nothing right” slings urine all over the floor- which I understand happens. I walked over, got my clothes on and immediately spoke to the office manager- who acted like she was terrified to talk to me. I would never recommend this practice or provider to anyone. I will be going elsewhere for any other issues. I am specifically concerned for elderly patients that don’t know what a proper standard of care is and have accepted this as the norm for people. It’s completely unsafe, disrespectful, and abhorrent how they treat patients. I hope leadership takes concerns seriously. I am grateful the procedure appears to be a success and it got what I needed done- but something has to change because imagine if it was an 80 year old woman stuck in a pike position for over an hour. Imagine if there was a serious event that happened or a patient fell and no one responded to their calls for help for over an hour.

I went there for a vasectomy. Dr. Collin’s was absolutely amazing. I read so many info about recovery. I felt great and taking care of by all staff from the reception, to nurses, to Dr. I wade sure to be reassured of the process going in into the actual procedure. It was a step by step process so I would know the next phase. It has been hours after procedure and I feel amazingly good. I felt a lil discomfort after coming home but rest a bit it feels good. No soreness. AAA+++++

Dr. Brecklebaum is awesome. He is a brilliant mind and you are lucky to have him in NWA. The problem that he is facing in my opinion is that your practice is far too large and you’re processing people like cattle. Just think how it would be to have a brilliant mind, taking care of prostate cancer or other serious issues, with enough time to give you. Overall, the practice is saturated with people to the point of incompetence. That said. Dr. Brekelbaum is a shining star in your organization and he is the only reason that I stay with your group.

I have been to several urologists in the area. I always left feeling like they hadn't listened to a single word I was saying. My mom recommended going to Dr. Brecklebaum and at first I was skeptical. I am SO glad I took my mother's advice. Dr. Brecklebaum listened, he didn't rush me out of the room or start trying to walk out before I asked ALL the questions. He listened, he answered, he came up with a manageable solution. During my follow up, he did the same thing. He LISTENED. He wasn't rude or a pompous jerk/know it all like I have encountered with others. He provided feedback and provided answers. I have had multiple and recurring UTIs/Bladder infections my entire life. I usually would get them at LEAST 1-2 times per month. Now.....I have only had 1 in 3 months (and I was able to figure out why and treat at home). I have found my forever urologist!
