Our Surgeons

Braedon Collins, MD

                                          

Dr. Braedon Collins was born and raised in Grove, OK. He attended The University of Oklahoma for his undergraduate studies and The University of Oklahoma Health and Sciences Center for medical school. He trained in his urology residency at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. When it came time to choose a community to raise their young children in, Dr. Collins and his wife Ashlyn were excited to find an opportunity in Fayetteville. They have enjoyed visiting the NWA area over the years to enjoy all it has to offer and are excited to establish their lives in Fayetteville and be involved in the community.

Dr. Collins received extensive urological training in his program at Creighton University in a wide array of surgical approaches which developed his interest in robotic surgery (bladder, prostate, kidney, adrenal), minimally invasive BPH treatments including laser enucleation (HolEP, ThulEP), stone surgery (PCNL, Ureteroscopy), microscopic surgery for infertility treatment, urethroplasty, sacroneuromodulation, He is excited to bring the newest surgical advances and researched techniques to NWA Urology.

In his free time Dr. Collins and his family love to travel, explore, camping and fishing, and visit family on Grand Lake, OK.

Chad E. Brekelbaum, MD

                                          

Dr. Chad Brekelbaum was born in Venezuela and lived in Europe until high school. He arrived in the United States at the age of 14 and attended high school in Houston, TX. He remained in Texas for his undergraduate education at Baylor and medical school training at the University of Texas in Galveston. He moved to Louisiana for his urologic residency at LSU in Shreveport, which included two years of general surgery training.

Although having no family roots in Arkansas, he landed in Fayetteville after falling in love with this beautiful part of the country and the friendly, caring people that live here. Dr. Brekelbaum is fully licensed and board-certified. He focuses on providing minimally invasive treatments to a broad range of urologic conditions. He is experienced in laparoscopy and robotic assisted laparoscopy. Dr. Brekelbaum provides care for a wide range of urologic problems, from pediatric age patients to the elderly.

Nirmal K. Kilambi, MD, FACS

                                          

Dr. Kilambi was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, attended medical school at UAMS in Little Rock, and completed his residency in urology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson in 2001.  He married his wife, Cherie, also a graduate from the University of Arkansas, while in medical school.  They have three wonderful children who all attend the same Fayetteville Public Schools Dr. Kilambi attended.  Dr. Kilambi is thrilled to be practicing in his hometown of Fayetteville and surrounding areas.  He enjoys being involved in the community where his family has so much history.  Dr. Kilambi’s parents both retired from the University of Arkansas and reside in Northwest Arkansas. 

Dr. Kilambi is passionate about all aspects of urology and always strives to provide his patients the latest treatments in urologic care.  He achieves excellent surgical outcomes through the most minimally invasive means possible.  Dr. Kilambi utilizes his specialized training in Intuitive da Vinci robotic surgery, laparoscopy, cryosurgery, and minimally invasive BPH treatments (Boston Scientific Green Light Laser, Urolift, Rezum, GreenLEP).  Dr. Kilambi became the FIRST physician in the State of Arkansas to receive the Surgeon of Excellence designation for Green Light Laser Therapy in 2021. Dr. Kilambi performs Stone surgery (PCNL, ESWL, Ureteroscopy) as well as Coloplast and Boston Scientific Penile Prosthetics.  He is also a female incontinence expert offering diagnostic complex urodynamics, multiple procedures such as Obtryx slings since its development as well as Axonics (Sacral Neuromodulation), in conjunction with other technology and treatments.  In addition to having a thriving surgical and clinical practice, Dr. Kilambi is also the business partner, leading all efforts in strategic planning, clinic operations, financial decision analysis, and initiating negotiation efforts on multiple efforts and projects for the good of his partnership.

Dr. Kilambi’s hobbies include reading and fitness.  His passion for Musculoskeletal mobility, health, and strength training have led him to collaborate with his wife to open Arkansas Biomechanics & Rehabilitation where they provide an integrative approach to Musculoskeletal health wellness.

Michael R. Wilson, MD

                                          

Dr. Michael Wilson is originally from Montana and lived for many years in Iowa. He worked in the banking industry in Iowa before attending medical school. Dr. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Wilson and his family moved to Oklahoma where he completed his residency in urologic training. After completing his residency at the University of Oklahoma, he began his practice with Northwest Arkansas Urology Associates in Fayetteville.

Dr. Wilson and his wife, Marci, have two daughters and are very active in their church and community. They thoroughly enjoy the many activities and opportunities available in Northwest Arkansas.
