Dr. Woodruff was born and raised in Arkansas.  He attended Harding University where he met his wife and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2002.  After finishing medical school, Dr. Woodruff completed one year of General Surgical Internship in New Orleans.  His Urology residency training included four years divided between Ochsner Medical Center and Louisiana State University Charity Hospital, both in New Orleans.  Dr. Woodruff and his family were present in New Orleans during and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and they played an active role in the efforts to revitalize the devastated region.

Upon completion of residency, Dr. Woodruff elected to seek more expertise by pursuing a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Urologic Oncology at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.  This extra training focused mainly on employing cutting-edge surgical and medical techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery, for the treatment of all types of Genito-urinary malignancies such as prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers.

Dr. Woodruff enjoys all facets of urologic practice and is excited about offering innovative techniques and compassionate care to the people of Northwest Arkansas
