Nirmal K. Kilambi, MD, FACS
Dr. Nirmal Kilambi was born and raised in Fayetteville Arkansas. His parents are both retired from the University of Arkansas and still reside in Fayetteville. He along with his two older brothers had a wonderful upbringing in which the importance of family, education and community involvement was emphasized.
He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and went on to medical school at UAMS in Little Rock. He married his wife Cherie, also a graduate from the University of Arkansas while in medical school. Having finished his residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson in 2001, they decided to come back to Arkansas to practice medicine.
While in a successful partnership in Hot Springs, Cherie’s hometown, they had three wonderful children that he deems his greatest achievement in life. Accepting the opportunity to come back to Fayetteville and join the Northwest Arkansas Urology Association group in May 2007, Dr. Kilambi and his wife are excited to make new memories with a new generation of Kilambis. They love this area and are enjoying making their home here.
Dr. Kilambi is interested in all aspects of urology and has always offered the latest treatments in urologic care to his patients and will continue to do so. He strives to achieve excellent surgical outcomes through the most minimally invasive means possible.
Dr. Kilambi is especially proud to be home and involved in the community that his family has been part of for over forty years.
